FROG FISH
There are thousands of wacky animals and creatures living in the ocean. The one that caught my attention was the frog fishes. They resembles the frogs I’ve seen in Jamaica living on land. Their skin is thick and covered in scales. These are known as dermal spicules. They are prickly as they also resembles the ward appearance of a frog. Frog fish are remarkable creatures. This is factual because they have amazing colors that they are capable of changing, this also allows them to blend into their environment perfectly. The frog fishes are terrible swimmers. They can be seen sitting and walking on their pelvic fins which have the resemblance of ones toe. These fishes are good at hiding. They would stay in one position for days if they are at a favorable feeding spot. They can be found in the shallow tropical and subtropical coral reefs throughout the oceans o the world. The frog fishes are related to the angelfish. Similarly to the angelfish the frog fish has a modified dorsal spine that resembles a rod. This rod can be seen hanging above the frog fish's mouth. These creative fishes uses these rods as a lure to catch their victims. This is the amazing part. They act as though they are slow but they catch their victims as fast as lightning. With one breath they eat their meals whole. That is amazing because this happens so fast that sometimes that occurrence can’t be seen with the human eyes. Frog fishes are cannibals, this is so because they eat their own kind.
Why does these frog fish matter?
Frog fish are masters of disguise, they are capable of adapting to their surroundings and sometimes they are rarely detected. They have features that even humans wish they could have. Ability to change colors for days or even weeks to mimic their surroundings. They can be covered in algae and other organic matter that matches their habitat. Some species of frog fish can change shape or even expand themselves by sucking in quantities of water as a defense mechanism if they are being threatened.

Parrot Fish
The name parrot fish comes from their fused, beak-like front teeth. when they are juveniles they are considered to be carnivorous until they have fully developed teeth to eat the algae off the coral . When they become adults they will have a herbivore lifestyle, that's when their teeth are fused together to form a shape that looks like a beak. Another interesting fact is that they developed a safe way of sleeping. At night, certain parrot fish envelope themselves in a mucus bubble so that it can stop predators from attacking them or to cover their scent.

Salps
Salps are interesting and simple creatures that have a complex way of reproducing. These animals are part of the phylum chordate. According to the book Sex, Drugs, and Sea-slime by Yada Yada "Salps are simple, barrel-shaped, transparent creatures up to about 10 centimeters (4 inches) long" (page 10). They propel their gelatinous barrel-shaped body by drawing water through it's jelly like physique from one end to the other. This is an unique and beneficial situation because "As water passes through their bodies, nets of mucus inside strain out zooplankton and particulate material for food" (10). This is extraordinary because while they swim they also feed as well. Although their swimming mechanism is quite different and fascinating. What makes Salps wacky animals is their remarkable reproduction technique. They can perform both asexual and sexual reproduction.
